Review | Three Bears Restaurant ★★★★★
Three Bears Restaurant is a bit off the beach in a part of town that’s a little dark. It takes a few more minutes to walk to on what seems like the end of town. While that might seem like a negative, it’s actually a positive. It’s away from the noise and commotion of the beach and just far enough to be our of reach of the people that are too drunk. What you get is a restaurant that is lively enough without being obnoxious. For those that venture away from the beach, they discover that this is a treasure.
The menu has a bit of variety, but the bill themselves as a burger place so that’s what we tried. We did a beef burger and chicken burger (there is a vegan burger on the menu as well, if that’s your thing). Both were amazingly good and were quite large in size. I did ask for no mayo my chicken burger, but it did come with that. The staff was great though and got it changed up in a flash.
We liked Three Bears enough to eat here a second time, which is kind of a rare things for us. This did give a great opportunity to sample more of the menu. Their BBQ ribs were really good, but their burgers are still the standout here and what we recommend going with.
As with all things in the beach area here, don’t expect Filipino prices. Everything is priced reasonable, but more on the western end of the scale. That said, it’s well worth it.
