Review: Sanabel Bakeries ★★★★★

We loved this little bakery that’s located about 2km away Petra. High quality, fair prices, and very authentic treats. It’s a great place to stock up on snacks for your hikes through Petra, or for something sweet to munch on the way to your next destination.

This place is really local, but on our visit we found a few staff members that could speak English and that were more than willing to explain what everything was. You’ll probably get a some free samples as well.

This place is a must stop if you’re looking for local treats and you have your own transportation.

Fair warning; due to the inexpensive prices, you will over buy. You won’t have any need for regrets. Middle Easterners have a major sweet tooth, and the baked goods to warrant a reason why.

Also note that there is area for dining. The goods are made exclusively for take-out.
