Review | Rasoi Indian Restaurant ★★★★★
Rasoi Indian Restaurant is another one of those restaurants that is out of reach for the typical Angeles City tourist. Located in one of Angeles City’s residential areas and close to nothing of importance, this is the place to go when you’re tired of Walking Street. It’s a good 20 minute walk from that area, so if the weather is favorable you can do it. Otherwise, it’s best to grab a taxi or use your own transportation.
Rasoi’s is a bit on the small side, with just a handful of tables. All the staff appeared to be Indian and were extremely attentive. A welcomed change from a lot of the other restaurants in the city.
I ordered a chicken tikka appetizer, chicken masala curry, and naan. The service was really quick and my food came in about ten minutes. Everything was excellent and above average, especially the chicken tikka. My one and only complaint would be that the naan was a bit on the small side. I ended up having to order a second one to finish my curry.
If you’ve got your own transportation and have a hankering for Indian food, give this place a try. You won’t be sorry. I would certainly give this place another go if I were back in Angeles City.
