Review | Nolita Joe’s ★★★★★
Nolita Joe’s is a NY style pizza by the slice restaurant that also offers craft beer. I want to love every pizza place I go to, and I did like the pizza here. Not love, but I thought it was good enough. As a New Yorker, I put this pizza right in the middle.
I thought the prices of slices were on the high side for the Philippines. I get that it’s in Poblacion, which is becoming a very trendy area for tourists, and that quality ingredients for pizza (cheese and Italian meats) are pricey in Asia. That said, I think they are a bit out of step with what they offer.
Though I didn’t experience one, Nolita Joe’s has a bunch of theme nights. I believe Tuesdays are video games, and patrons can compete against each other in things like Mario Kart. Check their FB link below for more information.
Would I go again? Yes. I’ve been there twice already and if I have a hankering for pizza in the Makati area, this is the place I’ll hit up. I do like that they are open til 3am, but sadly it seems that pizza is in very short supply at that time. So, don’t expect to roll up to this place at the end of a drunken rampage and find substance.
