Review | CPI Call Shop ★★★★★
CPI Call Shop & Craft Beer Cafe, located a fair bit west of Walking Street, is a nice find. They bill themselves a business center and cafe with super low rates on international calls, hence the name of the place. I really can’t say much about how effective it is as a business center, but it’s a super cool place to get a drink. It’s low-key, simple, and packed with some choice craft beer finds, both on tap and it bottles. They also have some tasty foods to try. I had a chance to sample some of their pizza, and it was surprisingly good.
CPI is so cozy and inviting that I dropped in and try them place for breakfast. Yes, they are opened for breakfast and have a nice line up of things like fruit and yogurt. It looks like they are also offering NY style bagels, which I will try on my next trip there. Honestly, NY bagels are hard to get right, but I will check on that and report back.
While it’s a bit of a drag that this cafe/bar is 1km away from the center of Angeles, it’s totally worth dragging your butt out here. Come for the craft beers, say for the foods. Besides, it’s located on the main road and it’s easy to get jeepney right to their doorstep… or just do what I did and hitchhike there.
