Review ｜ Commonly Uncommon Coffee ★★★★★
Commonly Uncommon Coffee is a gem of a find in central Cebu city. Located at Crossroads Mall, which is a nondescript strip mall with a handful of restaurants and shops, it’s definitely something only coffee connoisseur in the know are aware of.
The cafe offers a variety of caffeinated drinks on hand, with a pretty strong tea selection to boot. They serve meals as well. We didn’t get any food, but saw a lot of pasta dishes on the menu.
We made several stops here while we were in Cebu city, since it’s fairly close to the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino. This gave us an opportunity to try a few of their drinks. While we enjoyed everything we tried, their cold brew was a strong stand out. We highly recommend trying that if you visit.
One thing that did annoy me about this cafe is how hard it is to find. They don’t have a clear sign outside, so we walked by the place 3 or 4 times before a security guard asked us if we were looking for the cafe. Clearly we weren’t first wondering souls he’d encountered.
