Hotel Review ｜ Jack’s Condos ★★★★★
I really dislike the selection and quality of the hotels around Angeles City. It doesn’t matter if it’s budget hotel or something much more high-end. They all stink! They are often very rundown and I have yet to stay in one that didn’t have a major feature that was busted. And while I generally like the Filipino staff that I’ve interacted with at various business, I’ve found that hotel staff have been a major outlier.
I’ve had incredibly bad luck in Angeles City when it’s came to choosing a place to stay. This finally changed on the trip I landed at one of Jack’s place.
A Shaky Start To Rock Solid Stay
Things started off a little rocky. I couldn’t self-check in. The code I had for the lock box wasn’t working. I dropped an e-mail to the owner, Jack, and he was there in 20 minutes to help get me in. Later, the batteries for the in-room safe died, trapping all my valuables. Again, Jack didn’t hesitate to be in short time to solve the issue. When I got sick, Jack offered to take me to the hospital. I made it on my own, but the fact that he offered was really nice of him. You really can’t ask for a more attentive host, and it’s the reason why from now on I’ll be staying at one of Jack’s places.
The room amenities were fantastic. Full kitchen, if you feel looking cooking, 60″ TV with Netflix, soap, shampoo, daily room cleaning (if requested), and best of all, super fast WiFi. No BS there. Jack told me he paid extra to have all the rooms he rents out equipped with fiber-optic.
Jack has a number of rooms available in different building, which offer different amenities and styles, all very fairly priced.
