Review | Museo de Intramuros ★★★★★
Museo de Intramuros, pretty much dead center in Intramuros, located within the grounds of the Mission House of the Society of Jesus and the San Ignacio Church is “easy” to pass right by. It’s huge, but both the mission house and church just blend into the area so well that unless you’re on the lookout for this sight you might just walk past.
While I did enjoy seeing this museum, especially all the statues, it mostly feels like a slight less version of San Agustin Church, which is just down the road. If I had to choose between the two, I wholeheartedly pick the latter every time. Certainly I wouldn’t recommend doing them on the same day. I didn’t do them on the same trip, or even in the same year. If you’re a completionist, I guess go for it.
An hour should be enough to see everything here. You might want to stay long if it’s hot outside. Cameras are not allowed, but Smartphones are ok. Do note the limited opening times, listed below.
